Inkwells
The inkwells was the anchorage site for vessels re-supplying from the Royal Navy. Lots of stuff was dumped at this site. A large amount of broken up inkwells, plates, cutlery, clay pipes, bottles and other types of pottery can be found here. Sometimes intact items can be found here. Some items are over 100 years old.
