El Pipo

El Pipo was a wooden boat which caught fire in Sotogrande Marina, Spain. She was sunk as part of the Gibraltar Artificial Reef project. She lies in 22 meters of water, opposite the inkwells site.

 

Unfortunately, the newer wreck of the Buchana settled on top of El Pipo's stern, when it was sunk. The wreck is now fairly collapsed, but still a lot of aquatic life lives on her. A short distance away, south from her bow, lies a sunken pontoon.
